CNN's Carol Costello Remarks At Leg Crossings On Fox Because 'It's A Slow Monday'

Fact: slow news Mondays are the worst. It's probably a scientific fact somewhere. Depression among news journalists must be at its highest on Mondays, right? It's just a miserable experience.

Not willing to be consumed by such a lack of news, CNN host Carol Costello made the most of her slow Monday morning by remarking on her Facebook about the difficult leg crossings featured on Fox News' early morning show Fox & Friends First:

The legs she referred to can be seen in the following screen-grab of Fox & Friends First hosts Patti Ann Browne and Heather Childers (via TVNewser):

  • CNN's Carol Costello apparently finds women crossing their legs these days to be atypical.

  • Wait, is she implying that Fox uses attractive anchors to help keep their elderly male audience entertained?

  • Has anyone seen the Fox Weekend Weather 'GIRL' Maria Molina? Oh my! She definitely plays into the whole 'FOXY News' angle. Roger Ailes is running the newtork like it's the Playboy Mansion.

  • what slow news Monday? you got a union teacher strike going down in a pro-union city, ran by a pro-union mayer, who was the chief-of-staff of our pro-union president. and it's the hometown of our current president.

  • Keep them legs open Carol Costello. If that doesn't work, try tying a porkchop around your neck.

  • The real news is the FOX nighttime anchors spreading their legs for Ryan/Romney.

  • Ssh, the big three network news shows plan to keep that as quiet as MSDNC and CNN.

  • I think Faux News can incorporate fitness and news and get some camel-toe-revealing yoga-pants-wearing hotties to read the news while in poses that reveal as much as possible. Show just how conservative they are by melding soft-porn and infotainment to the very limit of the censor. Get all huffy at the [gasp] modesty of those backward Muslims who dress somewhat like Christians did a few generations ago (how revealing were Victorian-era swimsuits, really? I guess women were oppressed then, too?) I even see some Christian and Jewish groups that cover their hair ' then it is only 'quaint' and not a 'treat' somehow. No, the neocon way is to try to sneak some vulva on the screen while promoting enormous government programs like war and welfare for Israel. ABsolUTELY no subliminal messages there, folks.

  • F&F First is on at like 5 AM !!
who the heck is up at that time other than grumpy old men ?!?!
    oh wait, I get it.
