The Simpsons' Mr. Burns Endorses Mitt Romney With Help From Seamus The Dog

Mitt Romney can add another name to his list of endorsements: Charles Montgomery Burns, the owner of Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. With one little disclaimer: Mr. Burns isn't exactly a real person.

The Simpsons character made his unsurprising presidential pick based on Romney's business background ' and with the help of the Romneys' dog Seamus. Indeed, Seamus actually enjoyed riding on top of that car, Mr. Burns informed, because he could better see this 'great land of ours.'

The presidency 'is the God-given property of the Republican party,' but Mr. Burns took Seamus' opinion into account nonetheless. The dog was asked to choose between 'Broccoli Obama' and 'Meat Romney.' He made the only logical choice.
