The New York Times's 'FiveThirtyEight' scribe Nate Silver now gives President Obama a nearly 84 percent chance of winning the election.
Here's how Silver explains his numbers:
President Obama is now better than a 4-in-5 favorite to win the Electoral College, according to the FiveThirtyEight forecast. His chances of winning it increased to 83.7 percent on Friday, his highest figure since the Denver debate and improved from 80.8 percent on Thursday.
He goes on to explain that, of the 22 swing state polls published Friday, Obama led in 19, with two showing a tie with Mitt Romney. The sole poll Romney topped was, he adds, a Mason-Dixon poll of Florida.

Here come the unskewed polls trolls in 3'2'1'

How bad have things gone for Romney these past few weeks? On Oct 11, Obama was only a 60-40 favorite based on Silver's model.
The degree of denial by the rightwing seems to be receding though, as legitimate sites like electionprojection.com (republican-leaning) are now admitting Obama will likely win. Even shysters like Dick Morris are admitting that 'possibility'.

Is Silver trying to completely discredit himself? He has no pulse of the country whatsoever.

No, they're already in mourning. Even they can see the writing on the wall, which is why fewer and fewer are posting here these days. They're already depressed and miserable. Why add to it?

In other news, Michael Barone, a far more credible, unbiased source, calls a Romney slaughter of Barry.

Nate will either be hailed a genius or charlatan on Wednesday.
