Following President Barack Obama's Tuesday night appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the president will give NBC's Rock Center anchor Brian Williams inside access to him on the campaign trail. In a two-day series, Williams will follow Obama on the campaign trail and broadcast interviews with the president on October 25 and 26.

POLITICO's Dylan Byers writes that the president has no plans today to give any other news network that level of access to his campaign, but that could change in coming days.
NBC requested similar access to Mitt Romney's presidential campaign. Rock Center asked Romney to participate in a prime time special on the Mormon Church in August but the campaign also declined to participate in that NBC News special report.

So?
-
Jeff Immelt gets a big wet kiss. NBC in essence running two free re-election spots.
The questions were undoubtedly pre-approved. My question is whether NBC will use the questions provided by Axelrod?
Made by Liberals for Liberals
-
Yes Obama keep pandering to the base! Leno, Daily Show, and Brian Williams will rake in the undecideds!
-
So Romney didn't get the same offer. What liberal media bias?!
It won't help Brian. Obama is imploding.
-
Mitt Romney, on the other hand, gets no special treatments from ANY 'news' organization.
Another phony hypocritical Noah 'boo hoo'.
How about a story about Jerome Corsi traveling with the Mitt Romney press corps last week?
-
Fine.
Take Leno, TDS, and Williams out of your sentence above, since they are of course liberal operatives. Then insert three news/entertainment figures who you think he should be making time to see.
-
Obama and Valerie vacay with Comcast CEO in Martha's Vineyard! Of course, Comcast owns 51% of NBC and GE (Immelt) owns the other 49%! Just a coincidence!? Now FOX Newsaphobes need to ask themselves, if W was this cozy with Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes what would you be saying?

Its about time , Romney 24/7 FAUX NOOZ has had his own network for 5 years .
Now WATCH Rachel BEG romney to come on DOWN :)
Romney is too scared of hard questions . -
George W Bush did not have to go through FAUX NOOZ to get to the SAUDIES
The BUSH EMPIRE has a direct line to the SAUDIES , FOX NEWS are PEONS.
Members of Osama bin Laden's family were allowed to fly out
of the US shortly after the September 11 terror attacks, a senior official has
said.Even though American airspace had been shut down, the Bush administration
allowed a jet to fly around the US picking up family members from 10 cities,
including Los Angeles, Washington DC, Boston and Houston. Some 140 high ranking Saudi officials were also on the plane.
-
Really? No special treatment. They kiss his ass over there on FOX.
-
Did you miss your morning coffee, or do I have to start putting [sarc] next to my sarcastic remarks? :)

NOAH WRITES: NBC requested similar access to Mitt Romney's presidential campaign. Rock Center asked Romney to participate in a prime time special on the Mormon Church in August but the campaign also declined to participate in that NBC News special report.
____________________________________Strikingly, the Romney campaign did allow Fox's 'hard news' man Chris Wallace in for a soft interview and a bit of pancake posing.
NBC, unlike Fox, reached out to both sides.
-
Oops..sorry..didn't read it too carefully'too fast to jump to snark.
-
It will be interesting to guess how coverage would work if Romney agreed to play ball' I imagine some kind of puff piece about the gruelling campaign trail, being away from family etc'
with only one participant, it might turn into a different kind of piece'
I imagine it will be, though, less political and more personal/procedural.
