If you happened to turn on Good Morning America today, you might have stumbled across a particularly hectic race' among babies.
Based on the 'viral' Internet phenomenon of people filming babies racing across those multi-colored mats we all (don't) remember from our early childhood, GMA decided to host their own 'Diaper Derby' in the confines of their Times Square studio.
The results were' chaotic' but most definitely adorable.
Mothers manically shook rattle toys and shouted high-pitched commands at their respective babies; dads begged their little ones to get moving. Everyone in the studio shouted incomprehensible things.
There were a lot of loud noises.
And the babies were not moving. Perhaps understandably so. It's not hard to imagine how frightening it must be to have a bunch of strangers and your parents frantically shouting at you when all you want to do is either nap, eat mushed peas, or crawl on stuff that isn't a multicolored mat in the middle of a TV studio.
Eventually a few of the kiddos moved' but who won?
View the race below and see, via ABC.
And in 12 years, when these babies are all in the prime of adolescence, we hope they find this page and are embarrassed (Hi, guys! Nice try in the race and all!):
