Ann Romney's GOP Convention Speech May Not Make It Into Network TV Coverage

Earlier this week, CNN reported that Ann Romney is expected to kick off the Republican National Convention with a keynote speech on Monday night. But it seems Romney's speech may not make it to primetime television on the three major television networks ' because they won't be airing convention coverage on Monday night.

POLITICO's Dylan Byers reported today that ABC, CBS, and NBC have said their Monday night primetime schedule doesn't include convention coverage. So, 'in order to get Mitt's wife onto television, the campaign may have to scramble and reschedule her speech.'

CNN also noted that having Romney speak on the first night makes sense:

Having Ann Romney play a prominent role on the convention's first night makes sense, as she is widely considered to be one of her husband's most effective surrogates. It would also create a bookend effect ' Ann Romney speaking on the first night, with her husband formally accepting the Republican presidential nomination on the final evening of the convention. This is an important optic as Mitt Romney's family has played a key messaging role in his presidential campaign.

• And here I was so looking forward to catching it!  A zillionaire housewife has so much to say!

• She has already told 'You People' all you needed to know anyway'. 

• She might garner some primetime coverage if she rode in on Rafalca Lady Godiva style!

• Of course not, she's way too likeable and smart for the networks to take a chance she might sway voters to her husband.

  But many of us won't be watching the Big 3 networks anyway, unless there is no choice.

•  Yep, she beautiful, smart, funny, articulate and warm.  I don't blame you for not wanting to watch.

• Makes no difference when she's on. ABC, NBC and CBS will probably avoid covering her anyway.  Bias is running amuck in these networks so it is to be expected they won't cover ANN no matter what. As for ANN's speech'.One thing I bet she WON'T SAY IS'.'Today I am proud of my Country for the FIRST TIME EVER IN MY LIFE'  Uh hmmmm'yep that comment came directly from the mouth of Michelle Obummer!  She sure had 'so much to say' and right out of the gate she showed her true feelings!  Anti-American *&^%$'.just like her main squeeze, Barack Hussein!! Enuff said! ANN ROMNEY is professional, intelligent and YES, RICH!  So, what's wrong with that?  The Romneys worked hard to get where they are today financially and exemplify what ALL Americans thrive to be.  They could have but didn't, sit on their &^% and go on government assistance to care for her illness when ANN got sick.  Instead, they worked together as a loving couple to handle her illness, raise 5 young kids and STILL be self-sufficient financially!  Now that's what I call THE IDEAL AMERICAN DREAM AND FAMILY!!

• Just like most of the Republican/Tea Party folks Ann Romney is not that likeable.

• Maybe Ann Romney can weigh in on just what her idea of rape is.
  Maybe she can tell Americans why her party has a war on women.

•  How would you know?  Have you ever met her or watched her on TV?  She's immensely likeable'just ask any Democrat who has met her like Mika Brezinski or Piers Morgan.

• Women like Ann Romney are very easy to read between the lines.
  She lies just like her husband.

• I wonder if they'll cover Michelle Obama's speech.  Actually, I don't wonder.

• Will Ann be entering the Tampa Convention site on her high horse or her elevator?

• Broadcast is for moochers.  

• Just more of the liberal networks war on women. Why do the liberal networks hate women?

• First off, Michelle Obama, that's how it's spelled NEVER SAID what you're claiming she said.  Google it.  Second, the Romney's lived off of stocks he inherited from his father while he and Ann were in college and Ann has never actually held a job.  Now, I know it's hard for you to believe but, both of the Obama's worked as Lawyers after college.  Obama attended Columbia and Harvard University and Michelle attended Princeton and then Harvard for her law degree.  I know it's hard for many of you wingnuts to deal with these facts.  Why the networks are not broadcasting Ann is odd but, anyone who thinks they are favoring the Obama's hasn't been paying attention particularly lately where all they've done is blame Obama for a super pac ad while ignoring Romney's own campaign produced welfare ad which is a damn lie!
