Conservative Latino Group Trashes Ann Coulter's 'Ignorance' And 'Shameful,' 'Inflammatory Rhetoric'

Earlier this month, conservative pundit Ann Coulter wrote a column insulting Latinos as an 'underclass' of 'unskilled immigrants pouring into the country,' and now, she's being slammed for her offensive words. Café Con Leche Republicans, a conservative Latino group, blasts Coulter for her 'ignorance' and 'inflammatory rhetoric' on Latinos and calls her behavior 'shameful.'

Coulter's piece, mockingly titled 'America Nears El Tipping Pointo,' claims, among other things,

'Hispanics are less likely to be married, less likely to go to church, more supportive of gay marriage and less likely to call themselves 'conservative' than other Americans.'

Bob Quasius, president of the Latino group, criticizes Coulter for her shoddy research, saying,

'The 'facts' Ann Coulter cites are either blatantly untrue, or she cherry picks facts in isolation of other relevant factors.'

Quasius goes on to call Coulter's piece 'libel of Latino family values.' He disagrees with Coulter about nearly all of her claims and and cites research from the Pew Center in support of his facts.

Accoridng to Quasius, Coulter's ignorance is a 'prime example why many conservative Latinos hold their nose and vote Democrat.' He goes on to note, 'President George W. Bush proved that Latinos will vote for GOP candidates with engagement and a positive message.' Quasius wraps the piece vowing to 'continue to call out Ann Coulter and anyone else who trashes Hispanics or other New Americans.'
