Comedy Central Absolutely Skewers Cable News Stupidity With 'Can I Finish?' Shoutfest Parody

Comedy Central's Kroll Show recently got political by taking on the drones with a hilarious Top Gun-style movie trailer. Now, comedian Nick Kroll's sketch show is going after the media with an 'out-of-control' cable news show parody called 'Can I Finish?'

The talk show sketch covers every pundit stereotype on the map, beginning with the Chris Matthews-esque host who introduces the day's topic: 'The proliferation of talking heads on the news.' As he says, before bringing on his via-satellite guests, 'let's take it to the people in the tiny boxes!'

From there, we meet British intellectual Luke Bennett, pony-tailed lawyer Mark Rivers, and 'meek woman' Denise Ryan, who can't get a word in over the louder, more aggressive male panelists.

Things only devolve further after that, with the host 'flipping the boxes' to get new guests and reading tweets from viewers before he lets anyone else speak. By the end, as more and more boxes fill the screen and everyone's talking at once, the host exclaims, 'Somebody's job has got to be to figure out who talks when, and I can't do it!'

Overall, it's not that different from what you see all day, every day on CNN, Fox News and MSNBC.
